My One Woman Show is a story of a comedienne who goes on a journey one summer driving her dad, who has dementia, from Kentucky to California. In the process she reflects upon the lessons she has learned throughout her life from her father, especially the fact that everybody needs a little help once in a while, and nobody does it alone. 
My one woman show is a one act 60 minute play about my road trip across country as I pick up my dad and prepare to bring my father into my world of being a full-time graduate student and my life as a professional stand up comedienne. I utilized my one woman show as a platform for educating others about DEMENTIA and how to remain positive through the tough and rough times that we all experience in life.

Comedienne DD Rainbow, Master of Fine Arts (MFA),
 will be teaching a new Comedy Workshop and Improv Group which has been designed for performers to collaborate, inspire, train, develop and nurture artist of all levels through rehearsals and weekly live performances.

Our goal is to create a community of artists who can develop their talents in a supportive setting with a safe environment of trust, support, growth, and freedom which allows performers to showcase their individual talent in a group dynamic.

We will expand our horizons in all areas of Television, Film & Theatre to create opportunities for sketches, sitcoms and one person plays for professional and amateur performers.

We have three 4 week sessions for you to choose from.
Each (4) week session is $250 per student.
